Meta-analysis

Power Analysis and Ratio Statistics
The Power Analysis has been enhanced with an option to display results graphically. Ratio Statistics now includes the coefficient of price-related bias (PRB), with its corresponding confidence interval, as an additional feature.
Relationship Maps
SPSS 28 now offers the option to display data in Relationship Maps. You can find this option under the charts dropdown menu.
Improvements to the Worksheet and Side Menu in the Table Editor
The Statistical Worksheet allows you to combine the output and syntax into a single file. The side menu in the table editor enables you to edit more efficiently.

Important: Security Update for SPSS Statistics
Please note: A new version of the Interim Fix is available. Even if you have already downloaded the previous Interim Fix, you must follow the steps again.
A security vulnerability has been discovered in the software (Java) that SPSS uses to run. This applies to SPSS versions 27 through 31. IBM has made a security fix available for this issue: a so-called Interim Fix. It is important that you download and install this Interim Fix. To do so, follow the steps in the manual for Windows or Mac .
How do you use this code to renew your software?
If you ordered a renewal serial number, you will not receive a download link. A renewal serial number is simply a renewal code to extend your existing SPSS version by one year.
- Launch the “License Authorization Wizard” by clicking the License Authorization Wizard icon in the SPSS application folder.
- When prompted, select “License my product now.”
- Enter the newly ordered code and confirm.

Use the search term “SPSS License Wizard” in the search bar under Start/the Windows logo if you’re working on a Windows computer, or in Spotlight (Cmd+Space) if you’re working on a Mac. Select ' Show License Code '.
' Please note: You can only purchase a renewal serial number if it corresponds to the same version of SPSS Statistics that you have installed on your computer. For example, you can only use a renewal serial number for SPSS 25 if you have SPSS Statistics 25 installed on your computer. The same applies to all versions of SPSS.
