These days, you have so many different passwords for so many different systems that it’s impossible to remember them all. Just think of the passwords for your personal email, your school/work email, your Facebook account, your DigiD for government affairs, your laptop, your phone, your debit card, and your credit card. And those are just the most important ones. The average Dutch person even estimates that they have around 22 passwords. How do you remember all of that? Sticky Password helps you with this!

Store locally or in the cloud?

In Sticky Password, you can securely store all your passwords thanks to an encrypted database. The only password you still need to remember is your master password or fingerprint (for iOS and Android) for Sticky Password. You can also go into Sticky Password’s settings to choose whether your passwords are stored locally or in the cloud. You can always change these settings later. Even if you initially chose to create a backup in the cloud, you can simply delete it and switch to storing your passwords locally.

Synchronization

You can also choose which devices Sticky Password syncs with. For example, you might choose your laptop, tablet, and smartphone. This way, you can use the master password to access all your other passwords and codes on all three devices. Synchronization takes place entirely over your home network. If you want to keep all your passwords on just one device, you obviously don’t need to synchronize with other devices.

On iOS or Android, you’ll need to download the Sticky Password Manager & Safe app before you can sync your mobile devices with your main device (Windows or Mac computer). Sticky Password also offers a plugin for various browsers. Most browsers automatically save all your passwords by default, provided you give your permission. Sticky Password does the same thing but in an even more secure way. The plug-in also recognizes when you create a new account and asks you to import the password into Sticky Password right away.
