- Processor (minimum required CPU):
- PC: 2 cores at 1.6 GHz each (recommended: 4 or more cores, 2 GHz each). Windows ARM computers or tablets with ARM processors are not supported.
- Mac: 2 cores at 1.6 GHz each (recommended: 4 or more cores, 2 GHz each). ARM processors are only supported on Apple desktop and laptop computers. ARM processors in Apple tablet computers are not supported.
- Memory (RAM): Minimum: 4 GB. Recommended: 8 GB or more.
- Storage Space (minimum available disk space): 1.5 GB
- Display: Minimum: 1,280 x 720 pixels. Recommended: 1,920 x 1,080 pixels or higher.
- Internet Connection: Required once for activation. After that, only needed for using AI or transcription features.
- Additional System Requirements: Microsoft Office: Importing .doc or .odt documents requires Microsoft Word 2003 or newer and .NET 3.5 or newer. (.NET will be installed automatically if missing and may require a system restart.)
- Additional Notes: For complex projects and/or large media files, it is recommended to have suitable computer hardware.

- Scroll down and click on "Try it all".
- Create a MAXQDA account (or log in with your existing account)
- Click on MAXQDA Transcription.
- Click on Redeem.
- Enter the code and click on Redeem again.
