2. You will receive an e-mail including download instructions. This e-mail will be sent by either the software supplier or SURFspot itself.
3. Follow the instructions to install the product.

How quickly will I receive my download?

Exactly when you can expect your download link will depend on the download supplier. The product information on the SURFspot website will always include the exact or estimated delivery time.

Where can I find my download?

The necessary download information and installation codes will be shown in the overview at 'Orders'. Log into SURFspot, navigate to 'My SURFspot', at the top of the page and select 'Orders'.

Will my download link expire?

Yes. You must use the download link within 30 days. If you want to install the software after 30 days or if you want to re-install the software please sent us an email request to info@surfspot.nl and we will provide you with a new active download link.

What is a cloud service?

A cloud service is an application that is used directly online. They are installed at the supplier's location, so you usually do not need to install anything yourself. This is useful, as you usually do not need to worry about anything yourself: simply log in and go, that's all.

How long can I use a cloud service for?

The service will be available until your subscription expires. The applicable date is listed together with your SURFspot orders. Log into SURFspot, navigate to 'My SURFspot', at the top of the page and select 'Orders'.

What does offered by my institution mean for a cloud service?

This is listed whenever your institution has already paid for your user rights (i.e. the licence). This allows you to use the service either for free or for a small charge.
